We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Review Specialist to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a key member of our contract review team, you will be responsible for leading the review of complex contracts across the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities- Contract Review: Undertake thorough reviews of contracts, including joint ventures, advising on construction and non-construction related terms and conditions.
- Line Management: Lead the contract review team, including line management responsibilities, to ensure effective delivery of contract review services.
- Due Diligence: Support on due diligence and integration of M&A targets, ensuring seamless integration of new businesses.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaise with external parties, including lawyers and insurance brokers, to confirm coverage, respond to queries, and obtain advice.
- Contract Advice: Provide ad hoc contract advice to operational teams and liaise with clients/their legal teams to resolve contractual matters.
- Risk Management: Support operational teams through the risk management process, helping them to resolve issues and get into contract.
- Process Improvement: Work with the risk management leadership team to develop and roll-out improvements to risk management tools, systems, and processes.
- Training and Development: Support the development and roll-out of global risk management training, ensuring all staff are equipped to manage risk effectively.
- Compliance: Help carry out compliance spot checks and feedback findings to regions and into the RM process.
- Reporting: Support the generation and issue of RM reports to the regions and relevant committees/boards.
- Qualifications: Law degree or equivalent legal qualification/experience.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in contract review role, with previous line management responsibilities.
- Skills: Strong administrative skillset, including Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
