Residential Support Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and organised Residential Support Specialist to join our dynamic team at Queens Park Retirement Village in Sydney's Eastern suburbs. If you have a passion for delivering high-quality customer service and supporting the independence of older Australians, we would love to hear from you.
This exciting opportunity revolves around connecting residents with essential services tailored to their specific needs while respecting their individual life journey. As the first point of contact, you will provide administrative support and assist residents with their inquiries, ensuring the smooth operation of the village.
The position requires a bridge between our residents and the services they need on their personal journeys, allowing them to live the lives they choose. Your unwavering commitment to making a profound impact on our residents' lives will be your driving force.
Your primary duties will involve:
- Engaging with all residents and their families
- Planning and organising wellness activities within the village
- Collaborating with service providers and organisations such as My Aged Care on behalf of residents
- Providing trusted guidance and advice to residents and their families
- Providing general administration support to the Village Manager as required
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Knowledge of existing care and support services, such as My Aged Care
- Understanding of service funding mechanisms (highly desirable)
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role and industry
- Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration desirable.
- Drivers Licence and Reliable Transport (desirable)
- National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
- First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment including Drug and Alcohol Testing
In return, you can expect a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 per annum depending on experience, plus a range of benefits that support your wellbeing and career growth.
