This is an exceptional opportunity to join our team in Sydney, working alongside a dynamic and multi-disciplinary group of professionals. The successful applicant will be able to contribute to the success of our mission to accelerate Australia's transition to a renewable energy future.

The role of Finance Associate will sit within our finance team and support across our business, providing the successful candidate with wide exposure to various renewable asset investments and funds. The role is based in Sydney, with occasional travel required between offices.

The successful candidate will be involved in the successful delivery of all financial aspects of our company. This role will report to the Financial Controller.

We are one of the largest owners of renewable energy projects in Europe and Australia, owning approximately 260 assets on behalf of wholesale and institutional investors. We manage over $1 billion of assets for local and international investors.

Our company was established in 2018, and we continue to grow to deliver a long-term business that provides a firmed energy product to meet the evolving energy needs of Australia.

About the Role
  • Regular management and KPI variance reporting
  • Assisting in the financial management of development, construction, and operating-stage renewable energy assets
  • Assisting in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial reports (with support from advisors)
  • Cashflow forecasting and funding requirement calculations
  • Managing external administrators and advisors to ensure statutory filings are met (including audited financials, tax returns, activity statements, FBT)
  • Managing bank accounts and payment processes
  • Assisting with financial compliance matters
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) or nearing completion of the program
  • Familiarity with, or a genuine interest in, the renewable energy sector
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • An interest in implementing new technologies and leveraging digital applications
