MRO Production Lead

We are seeking a Quality Specialist to lead our Amberley Quality team in supporting Defence Australia's evolving MQ-28 program.
This role is critical in ensuring quality excellence as we scale operations and integrate complex production workflows within an MRO environment.
- The successful candidate will lead and embed a culture of First Time Quality (FTQ) and continuous improvement tailored to the complexities of an MRO-production hybrid environment.
- Key responsibilities include developing and driving Quality Management System (QMS) projects and initiatives aligned with the MQ-28 Quality strategic plan, focusing on scalability, repeatability, and compliance in a production-intensive MRO setting.
To achieve this goal, you will present quality project plans, technical roadmaps, risk assessments, and recommendations that address the challenges of balancing production throughput with stringent MRO quality standards.
Additionally, you will influence and support decision-making processes that reconcile the differing priorities and workflows of MRO and production teams.
It is essential to have a strong understanding of ISO 9001 and AS 9100 standards, with practical application in both production and MRO contexts.
Furthermore, you must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across diverse teams.
Finally, applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.
