Parts Advisor Modern Apprentice Job

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to embark on their career within the Automotive Industry as an Apprentice Vehicle Parts Advisor.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring accurate delivery and stock management by locating vehicle parts within the Parts Department and rectifying orders.
  • Providing exceptional customer service skills, responding promptly to internal and external customer queries.
  • Maintaining electronic records of stock levels and efficiently locating parts from stock.
  • Accurately processing invoices and managing cash handling for sold parts.
  • Effectively dealing with incoming stock to maintain organized bin locations.
  • Utilizing analytical skills to identify and locate vehicle parts or customers/orders from a vast range of vehicle parts and accessories.
  • Ensuring a well-organized stockroom and maintaining efficient part-finding processes.
  • Establishing effective communication with colleagues, applying problem-solving skills, and providing accurate information to customers.
Requirements and Skills
  • Excellent communication and numerical skills, preferably National 5s or above in English and Math, and another subject.
  • Possess strong core skills in IT, Communication, Numeracy, Problem Solving, and Working with others.
  • A valid driving license is desired but not essential, as local driving duties may be expected to support deliveries.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong desire to develop a career in the Automotive Industry and ability to work in challenging conditions.
