Electrical Apprenticeship Opportunity

This electrical apprenticeship provides a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade while studying towards a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician.

You will be working full-time, 38 hours per week, and will be based with one of our host employers. Your duties may include:

  • Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment
  • Reading and understanding specifications to determine electrical requirements
  • Planning wiring systems
  • Testing, locating and repairing malfunctions
  • Installing electrical control systems
  • Assembling and fabricating electrical components
  • Connecting electrical equipment to power supplies

In addition to your on-the-job training, you will also be studying towards a nationally recognized qualification.

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Be eligible to complete an apprenticeship
  • Be well presented, enthusiastic, reliable and punctual
  • Be motivated with a positive attitude
  • Hold a driver's license and have access to a vehicle
