Job Description

Our organization is seeking Casual Disability Support Workers to provide direct support across a range of customer needs, including domestic and personal care assistance, as well as assisting customers to access and have a positive connection to the community.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing daily living support and assistance with personal care tasks.
  • Assisting customers to engage in recreational activities and pursue their interests.
  • Supporting customers with communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation.

This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives while gaining valuable experience and skills in disability support.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to working with customers with diverse needs and abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, families, and colleagues.
  • Physical and mental stamina to work in a fast-paced environment and manage challenging situations.
  • The ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement.

Preferred qualifications include relevant tertiary education or experience in a similar role, although we encourage applicants from all backgrounds to apply.
