We are seeking a seasoned executive with expertise in debt and capital advisory, sub-investment grade lending or debt restructuring to join our team. As an Associate Director, you will be part of a dynamic group that provides independent advice on debt and capital needs for clients across domestic and international markets.

About the Role
  • Deliver critical insights into the debt and capital markets in a strategic manner for clients.
  • Lead and execute deal origination efforts by identifying and engaging potential clients, leveraging market insights and network connections to secure new business opportunities.
  • Lead transaction execution; including preparation of bank presentations, information memorandums, credit analysis, financial modelling and review of legal documentation.
  • Help clients articulate their needs, issues and risks and provide clear recommendations by leveraging your in-depth debt product and market knowledge.
  • Inspire juniors in the team through training, sharing knowledge and actively contributing to their professional development.
  • Be the trusted advisor through sharing thought leadership and having a presence in the debt and capital markets space with both bank and non-bank lenders.
About You
  • You have solid experience in corporate or institutional banking, leverage finance or debt advisory, with a proven track record in deal structuring, credit analysis and negotiating documentation of debt and capital funding transactions.

This is a mid-senior level role which requires you to be commercially minded, have the ability to learn from a passionate team and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Our ideal candidate has experience in a similar role within a leading financial services organisation and is willing to relocate to Brisbane or Melbourne.
