We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Manager to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's payroll functions, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing: Accurately process fortnightly payroll for a diverse workforce, including casual and permanent employees.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant awards (Retail, Storage, and Warehousing) and an Enterprise Agreement.
  • Payroll Systems: Utilize Zambian/Ready Tech to manage payroll functions effectively.
  • Knowledge and Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll laws and regulations to ensure full compliance.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with HR and management to address payroll-related issues and inquiries.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit payroll reports and maintain payroll records.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in payroll management, preferably within the retail sector.
  • Payroll Systems: Strong knowledge of payroll systems, beneficial if experienced with using Zambian/Ready Tech.
  • Awards and Agreements: Familiarity with Retail, Storage, and Warehousing Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
  • Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Communication: Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Interpersonal: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
