Civic Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our Development Assessment team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Operational Works aspect of development within Council, ensuring that works are carried out in accordance with Council's development standards.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality technical engineering assessments and advice on transport, stormwater, water, and sewerage assets for development applications and operational works.
- Supervising development construction and undertaking reviews into policy and procedures to identify efficiencies and improvements.
- Collaborating with colleagues to provide support to the Development Assessment team.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent, recognized by Engineers Australia as eligible for membership as a Professional Engineer. They will also possess a current Queensland C Class Motor Vehicle Licence and a General Construction Induction Card. Additionally, they will have good working knowledge and understanding of infrastructure planning, asset management principles, and practices.
