Volunteer Opportunities
- A compassionate and dedicated individual is sought to join our team of volunteers, providing companionship and support to ageing persons in a picturesque coastal setting.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging residents in various activities, including board games, music, craft, art and social engagement, as well as assisting with gardening and meal times.
- This role offers the opportunity to develop new skills, build meaningful relationships and experience the reward of giving time and kindness.
Located in South West Rocks, our organisation provides both permanent and respite accommodation for ageing persons. Volunteers play a vital part in resident care, complementing the care provided by our care staff.
Your presence and contributions can brighten lives and create meaningful connections for our residents and their family members.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing companionship and friendly social interactions with residents
- Engaging residents in lifestyle activities such as board games, music, craft, art and social engagement
- Assisting residents with gardening activities
- Supporting residents during meal times
