About the Role

As an Associate Director in Commercial Transactions and Advisory, you will lead strategic transactions and drive business growth. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing complex commercial projects to deliver economic growth and liveability outcomes.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, government agencies, and external advisors to achieve project goals.
  • Navigating organisational processes, including Ministerial engagement, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Joining the Commercial Transactions and Advisory branch in the Investment NSW group.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven success delivering large-scale commercial projects in a public sector environment.
  • Strategic thinking and analysis skills, providing advice considering risks, probity, precedents, and information analysis.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills, with experience navigating organisational processes.
  • Project delivery expertise, structuring and managing large commercial projects, leading planning, budgeting, monitoring, and managing internal teams and external consultants.
  • Experience at a Senior or Executive level, delivering specialist advice to executive leadership and Ministers.
