Key Responsibilities- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly and annual financial reports to stakeholders.
- Cash Flow Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate cash flow forecasts to ensure the company's financial stability.
- Consolidated Management Accounts: Prepare and analyze consolidated management accounts to inform business decisions.
- Project Reporting: Provide regular financial reporting on projects to ensure timely completion and budget adherence.
- Annual QBCC Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit annual financial reports to the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC).
- Financial Ratio Analysis: Monitor and analyze key financial ratios to ensure the company's financial health.
- Annual Income Tax Return Preparation: Prepare and lodge annual income tax returns for the group companies.
- Financial System Management: Manage the company's financial and project management systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: Oversee the management of accounts payable and receivable, including payroll and asset purchases.
- Asset Finance: Liaise with financiers to obtain asset finance and manage financial liabilities.
- Bank Covenant Reporting: Prepare and submit bank covenant reports to ensure compliance with financial covenants.
- PPSR Update: Update the Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR) to ensure accurate records.
- BAS and FBT Reporting: Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).
- Tertiary Qualifications: Hold tertiary qualifications in Finance or Accounting.
- Private Entity/Company Tax Experience: Have experience in private entity/company tax.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Procor Familiarity: Be familiar with Procor.
- Teamwork and Leadership: Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a close-knit team and lead by example.
- Construction Industry Knowledge: Have a passion for the Construction industry and be aware of its challenges and opportunities.
- Financial Improvement: Be a confident operator who can make financial improvements for the business.
