Job Title: Strategic Business Leader
Job Summary:
The primary strategic business leader is responsible for all aspects of the operation, including guest and employee satisfaction, human resources, financial performance, sales, and revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures implementation of service strategy and initiatives to meet or exceed guest expectations, increase profit, and market share.
- Holds property leadership team accountable for strategy execution and guides individual professional development.
- Verifies that sales engines are leveraged, initiates independent and proactive sales activities to generate demand.
- Builts owner loyalty through proactive communication, setting and managing expectations, delivering solid business results.
- Actively involved in the local community, builds strong relationships with local officials, businesses, and customers.
Candidate Profile:
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 10+ years progressive experience in the hotel industry, preferred prior GM experience in similar size hotels.
- Excellent food, beverage, event management, rooms operations, revenue management, human resources, and quality assurance skills.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a matrix organization, leverage centralized organizational resources.
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in adverse conditions, faced with complexity and ambiguity.

- Ability to creatively execute against strategy, drive results, create unique guest experiences, maximize revenue within brand framework.
- Strong organization skills, financial management analytical skills.
- Ability to evaluate business trends, determine applicability, modify business strategies accordingly.
