Pharmacist Opportunity in Geelong

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in Geelong. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dispensing and checking medications, including dose administration and blood glucose testing.
  • Providing medication management, diabetes education, and weight management services.
  • Supplying medicines to nursing homes and mental health facilities.
  • Delivering educational in-services to facility staff.
  • Pharmacotherapy, including oral treatments and long-acting injectable buprenorphine.
  • Providing an immunisation and vaccination service.
  • Participating in pilot programs such as UTI treatments, OCP resupply, shingles and minor psoriatic skin ailments treatment, travel vaccinations, and travel health.
Requirements:
  • General registration with AHPRA.
  • Proficiency with the Fred computer system.
  • Ability to provide extended scope of practice (Victorian pilot program) or willingness to upskill in these areas.
  • Australian community pharmacy experience in providing diverse professional health services.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
