About the RoleWe're seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to provide life-changing therapy to NDIS participants in the Southern Perth and surrounding areas. This is a full-time or part-time (4 days per week) opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our participants.
Your Everyday- As a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Everyday Independence, you'll work in diverse settings, from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres.
- You'll utilize assessment and intervention skills to support participants in achieving their goals and maximizing NDIS funding.
- You'll build meaningful relationships with participants and their supports, including family, carers, and friends.
- You'll develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans with function-based strategies, utilizing the positive behaviour support framework.
- You'll conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges.
- You'll attend weekly team meetings in the Hub, sharing stories of impact, coffee, and laughs.
- You'll tap into the knowledge and support of your Team Leader and dedicated Therapy Mentor.
- Streamlined Behaviour Support Services: Our PBS services are designed to align with NDIS standards, making it easier for you to focus on what matters most - supporting our participants.
- Simple Reporting: We've taken the complexity out of reporting, with easy-to-use Behaviour Support Plan templates. This means you'll spend less time on administrative work and more time with your participants.

We're on the lookout for individuals who resonate with our values and can seamlessly integrate into our dynamic environment. To work as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you'll have:
- Been deemed as a Behaviour Support Practitioner by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (evidence of letter required).
- Minimum 12 months experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Psychological/Social Science or related field).
You'll also need:

- A valid Australian drivers license.
- NDIS Workers Screening Check.
- Working with Childrens Check.
