Maintenance Technician Role Summary

">

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in one of our highly automated Fulfillment Centers.

">

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who possess strong mechanical and electrical skills, with a focus on preventative maintenance and equipment availability.

">

The ideal candidate will have experience with planned preventative maintenance systems, fault finding within MHE/Automation systems, and working to appropriate health & safety standards and regulations.

">

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring safety regulations and policies are adhered to, conducting preventative maintenance on time to a high standard, and providing high levels of equipment availability through continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

">

* Ensure health & safety best practices are followed in all work carried out
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance on a range of equipment
* React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected parties and work efficiently to fix the issue
* Support and take ownership by driving continuous improvement, learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements through the line manager
* Provide high levels of equipment availability to internal customers
* Support and learn from Senior Maintenance Technicians

Requirements:

">

* Formal trade qualification as Fitter/Turner with REL (D-Class) or A-Class Electrical
* Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems
* Experience with fault finding within MHE/Automation systems
* Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings
* Basic workshop skills
* Experience with conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters
* Experience with working to appropriate health & safety standards and regulations
