Job Opportunity at City Facilities Management

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Equipment Installation and Maintenance Technician. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our refrigeration and HVAC systems.

About the Role:

  • Diagnose and rectify faults in refrigeration control systems
  • Establish the basic operating conditions of vapour compression systems
  • Dismantle, replace and assemble engineering components
  • Install refrigerant pipe work, flow controls and accessories, maintaining low temperature systems
  • Prepare and connect refrigerant tubing and fittings
  • Locate and rectify faults in low voltage electrical equipment using set procedures

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Mechanical aptitude, an eagerness to learn and ability to participate in working as part of a team
  • Own transportation and current Victorian Probationary or full Drivers Licence
  • Willing to undergo a Medical and Police Check
  • Be able to work without supervision to proactively anticipate and resolve issues
