About the role

This is a rewarding and successful career opportunity in our Electrical division. We seek apprentices who are eager to work and develop as distribution linesmen, possessing a can-do attitude and wanting a fulfilling career.

Key responsibilities:

  • Installing and maintaining conductors, aerial equipment, and lines
  • Installing and maintaining all associated electrical supply equipment
  • Upgrading and constructing new and existing assets
  • Studying and interpreting technical drawings, network diagrams, and maps
  • Completing comprehensive risk assessments
  • Terminating conductors
  • Stringing and terminating overhead conductors
  • Following work to all HSE procedures as well as statutory requirements
