We are seeking a professional for the role of Inventory Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Supply Chain team as part of a dynamic group responsible for effective inventory control and security.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform duties in a safe, efficient manner adhering to Company procedures and health and safety regulations;
- Maintenance of goods receipt and dispatch records;
- Acknowledgement and clearance of incoming stock into bonded storage, including traceability records within a standardised record keeping system conforming to regulatory guidelines
- Provision and maintenance of correct packaging, labeling and storage of cleared stock;
- Safe packaging of goods for transportation;
- Timely despatch of all outgoing goods, including local domestic and international freight to minimise turnaround times;
- Maintenance of a secure, clean, tidy store with stock shelved and stored in regular groupings, easily identifiable and accessible;
- Management of perishable stock lines and rectification of expired stock as directed by the Logistics Team Leader;
- Storage of items requiring special handling in accordance with those requirements;
- Maintenance of all documentation records held within the store; and
- Monitoring and reporting of stock levels to ensure adherence to Company standards.
- Demonstrated data entry skills with ability to meet deadlines;
- Excellent communication and customer service skills – verbal and written;
- Intermediate user level proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Excel/Word/Outlook;
- Holding a valid Australian driver's licence;
- Ability to obtain and maintain an ASIC;
- Previous experience in stores and purchasing administration and procedures (desirable);
- Competency with inventory management computer-based software (desirable);
- Forklift operating license;
- Prior experience in the aviation industry (desirable);
- Dangerous Goods acceptance (desirable).
