The Role

We are seeking a skilled Human Factors Lead to join our Safety Engineering & Assurance team.

This role involves supporting projects in the development and delivery of Human Factors Integration, working with teams to identify and manage deliverables across the project life cycle.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Develop Human Factors plans and assurance arguments to ensure project success.
  2. Identify, document, and manage Human Factors issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  3. Define, document, and manage Derived Requirements for Human Factors.
  4. Deliver Human Factors analyses, activities, and results through the project lifecycle.
  5. Provide input into Design activities and deliverables.
  6. Contribute to Safety Assurance activities and deliverables.
  7. Support Systems Engineering and System Assurance activities and deliverables.
  8. Coordinate and communicate Human Factors program of work with project teams and stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in a recognised Human Factors / Ergonomics discipline.
  • 3-5 years' experience with Human Factors Integration in the rail industry.
  • Application of Human Factors Integration processes and standards.
  • Human Factors methods expertise.
  • Experience managing organisational interfaces.
  • Human Factors issue management.
