  • A typical day in our shop involves welcoming customers, processing transactions, sorting donations, creating engaging displays, and maintaining a clean and tidy environment.

As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to develop your interpersonal and communication skills, work collaboratively as part of a team, and make a real difference in the lives of others.

Our shops offer a wide range of high-quality items, including clothing, accessories, and homewares, which are carefully curated to appeal to a diverse customer base.

Key aspects of this role include:

  • Welcoming and engaging with customers
  • Processing transactions through point of sale
  • Sorting and pricing donations
  • Creating vibrant displays to attract shoppers
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy environment

  • Happy to work as part of a team
  • Flexible and willing to do any of the shop tasks

What's the application process?

  • No need to upload a resume – just tell us why you're interested in the role
  • We'll then have a friendly interview in store and ask you a few questions
  • You must be at least 15 years of age (16 in QLD)
  • Completing a National Police check (paid for by Red Cross)
  • You will also be required to complete an Induction into our organisation and Retail program
