About The Role

This is an opportunity to work closely with people experiencing vulnerability, providing support and assistance where needed.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for connecting with individuals, identifying relevant support options, and ensuring their safety and well-being.

You will also have the opportunity to develop skills and build experience in working with people experiencing vulnerabilities, through training workshops and on-the-job development.

Key Responsibilities

- Connect with individuals experiencing vulnerability due to alcohol or substance use
- Identify relevant support options and assist with referrals or ensure their safe return home
- Record notes on interaction, assistance, and referrals offered to the community member in our system
- Assist with setting up and packing up resources or equipment used during shift

Qualifications and Skills

- Experience in working with people experiencing vulnerabilities (e.g., addictions) is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
