Australian Senior Real Estate Portfolio Leader

This role oversees the management of direct real estate transactions and asset portfolios in Australia.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead a team responsible for sourcing, underwriting, negotiating agreements, coordinating due diligence, and closing deals related to Australian real estate transactions.
- Coordinate capital market activities related to financing assets according to terms required by portfolio managers.
- Execute property dispositions in line with guidance from portfolio managers.
- Identify investment opportunities from a market perspective and support team members in conducting financial underwriting, commercial appraisal, structuring investments, transaction negotiations, and presenting to internal clients, funds, and investment committees.
- Oversee investments during the asset holding period by sitting as a director of the investment vehicles.
- Extensive experience in the real estate sector, preferably from institutional asset management, investment banking, private equity, or real estate development.
- Demonstrable track record of sourcing and closing Australian real estate transactions across commercial and/or residential assets.
- Experience in structuring real estate transactions on behalf of foreign capital for non-discretionary and discretionary investment accounts would be beneficial.
- Sound experience across both direct real estate transactions/acquisitions and asset management.
- Established relationships with investors that can be leveraged to drive new business in direct real estate mandates for Australia.
A suitable candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, strategic thinking, and strong communication abilities to drive results-oriented outcomes.
