Occupational Therapy Graduate Position

This graduate role provides a unique opportunity for aspiring Occupational Therapists to develop their skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive clinical environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with experienced clinical supervisors to deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals across various age groups. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Professional Development: Participate in regular supervision sessions to review progress, receive feedback, and discuss areas for improvement.
  • Clinical Practice: Provide therapy services to individuals, including one-on-one and group sessions, while operating within scope of practice and adhering to relevant standards and guidelines.
  • Resource Creation: Develop resources and materials to support therapy interventions, including creating projects throughout the graduate year.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Compile and submit accurate and comprehensive reports, including functional assessments, progress reports, outcome reports, and recommendations, ensuring adherence to NDIS reporting requirements.

About You:

  • Qualifications: Hold a tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy or be eligible for registration with the relevant governing body.
  • Registration Status: Be currently registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Previous Experience: Have completed tertiary studies prior to commencing this role.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for practicing therapy interventions as an allied health professional, possess initiative and autonomy to work independently, and align with the core business values of Empowerment, Integrity, and Respect.
