Cooper Grace Ward is a leading independent law firm based in Brisbane, seeking a mid-level experienced Commercial lawyer to join our highly respected Commercial and Private Client team.

The role supports multiple authors, including private client partners, and focuses on commercial transactions, structuring, trusts, superannuation, and succession planning.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and negotiating commercial agreements, including stakeholder agreements, share and asset sale agreements
  • Advising on business structuring
  • Advising clients on asset protection strategies
  • Drafting commercial documents and providing advice for restructuring
  • Small to medium business merges and acquisitions, and commercial transactions

Requirements:

  • 2+ years PAE with genuine passion and interest in commercial and private client space
  • Excellent client service orientation
  • Strong general technical skills and commercial acumen
  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to consistently produce accurate, high-quality work
  • Dedication to excellence and the delivery of outstanding client service
