Orthopaedics Registrar Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Orthopaedics Registrar to join our Surgical & Perioperative Division. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking elective and trauma components of Orthopaedic Surgery.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing assessment and treatment to patients of Albury Wodonga Health Orthopaedic Services. Additionally, they will have direct responsibility for Emergency Department Orthopaedic patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake elective and trauma components of Orthopaedic Surgery.
  • Provide assessment and treatment to patients of Albury Wodonga Health Orthopaedic Services.
  • Direct responsibility for Emergency Department Orthopaedic patients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery or equivalent qualification.
  • Current general registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA.
  • At least two years of clinical experience in an Australian Health Service setting.
  • Well-developed clinical skills for effective patient assessment and treatment.
  • High level interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, carers and workers and liaise with various service providers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team and independently.
