Design Engineer Internship in Solidworks

Job Description:

As a Design Engineer Intern, you will be working closely with our Senior Design Engineer on various solidworks design and modeling projects. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop machinery and industrial equipment using solidworks.

You will also be involved in technical support, drafting, and editing P&IDs using software such as Lucidchart and EdrawMax. Additionally, you will perform design reviews and risk assessments with senior engineers and production managers and provide on-site workshop assistance.

You will be responsible for liaising with clients and presenting final designs for review. You will also perform simulations and coordinate QA and testing activities.

Requirements:
  • Strong skills in solidworks design engineering
  • Hands-on experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on mechatronics and industrial design
  • P&ID drafting experience
  • Knowledge of DFM and Lean principles
What You Will Learn:
  • Essential solidworks skills and software training in 3D modeling
  • Hands-on experience in design engineering with a focus on mechatronics and industrial design
