The role of a corporate tax specialist is crucial in supporting the tax team across various direct and indirect tax matters. This includes tax reporting, compliance, and advisory work for both corporate groups and projects in Australia and offshore.
- Ensure all tax compliance deliverables are high quality, technically accurate and delivered on time.
- Prepare corporate tax returns and FBT returns across the corporate group.
- Review project tax returns.
- Manage external review of corporate and project returns.
- Support the Tax Director on board reporting and tax forecasting.
- You will have a tertiary qualification in Business/Tax or Tax Law.
- You will have 2-4 years experience working in a corporate tax division.
- Infrastructure/property/M&A experience is beneficial.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills.
- A proactive and energetic approach.
This role requires strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. You will be responsible for building trust and earning respect from colleagues.
