About this role

This position focuses on delivering business outcomes that align with the company's strategic objectives.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of initiatives, prioritizing time, cost, and quality.

You will work in a matrix organization to drive change and deliver optimal results.

A key aspect of this role is ensuring solution delivery is maintained in project management repositories like Jira and Confluence.

You will also be accountable for delivering projects or business benefits as a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) in an iterative manner.

The successful candidate will ensure all projects are delivered within agreed parameters and that changes to project budgets, time, and scope occur in accordance with accepted change management processes.

In addition, you will establish and manage delivery expectations with senior stakeholders, lead daily stand-up meetings, and communicate updates to stakeholders effectively.

Lastly, you will evaluate key project deliverables and final products to ensure traceability of requirements, high quality, and sponsor acceptance.

This role requires relevant tertiary qualifications, professional project management and change management expertise, experience in Waterfall and Agile SDLC delivery methodologies, and excellent stakeholder management skills.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role is essential, along with experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and knowledge of digital and data technology concepts.

Requirements
  • Relevant Tertiary qualification
  • Professional project management and change management expertise
  • Competent in Waterfall and Agile SDLC delivery methodology
  • 5+ years as an Experience Specialist, Product Owner or Senior Project Manager role
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience at a senior level
  • Experience in the use of Project Program Management Toolsets and MS Office
  • Experience leading a multi-disciplinary team to successfully deliver outcomes
  • Knowledge of the concepts, strategies and issues associated with digital and data technology and related services
  • Well-honed analytical abilities and quantitative skills
