Job Description

As a member of our Data Modelling Practice, you will be responsible for producing data models at different levels of detail that support projects and general business analysis across various business units and teams. You will work closely with business SMEs, business and process analysts, and solution architects to understand the business context and project-specific data requirements and develop conceptual and logical models of data domains in scope for projects.

You will collaborate with Data Governance and Data Quality teams to ensure that the business terms and requirements for data completeness and integrity are well understood and documented. Your role will also include contributing quality deliverables and developing clear and problem-focused presentation views for business users.

The Role
  1. Maintain and grow the UniSuper Data Model repository by contributing quality deliverables.
  2. Develop clear and problem-focused presentation views for business users.
  3. Collaborate with business SMEs, business and process analysts, and solution architects to understand the business context and project-specific data requirements.
  4. Develop conceptual and logical models of data domains in scope for projects.
  5. Contribute to the profiling and cataloguing of source system data.
  6. Contribute to the reconciliation of data across and within sources.
  7. Act as a data SME for UniSuper projects.
  8. Support the ad-hoc analysis of data as required.
  9. Contribute to the cataloguing (using Alation) and stakeholder / value mapping of our legacy reporting and data integration workloads.
  10. Contribute to scoping, prioritisation and execution of work to manage the migration of existing valuable workloads from our legacy platforms to MDP.
