As a seasoned professional in waterways and drainage engineering, we are seeking an accomplished Senior Waterways and Drainage Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with experienced engineers, working on complex projects that impact the health of our communities.

We are looking for a highly skilled engineer who can apply their expertise in hydrology, waterways, and drainage to develop innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 12D, DRAINS, RORB, TUFLOW, HEC-RAS, and other relevant hydraulic and hydrologic modelling tools.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing engineering studies in hydrology, waterways, and drainage
  • Developing technical solutions for bridge, culvert, floodway, waterway, wetland, and stormwater network designs
  • Maintaining proficiency in surface water modelling tools
  • Applying 12D and DRAINS skills for detailed drainage and stormwater design
  • Coordinating and supervising project teams
  • Delivering creative solutions balancing technical needs and client goals

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 6–10+ years of experience in waterways, hydrology, or drainage engineering
  • Proficiency in relevant hydraulic and hydrologic modelling tools
  • Strong experience in client-facing roles and multidisciplinary project coordination
