As a Firefighter with Fire and Rescue NSW, you will be working in a dynamic team to protect people, property and the environment in your local community.

About the Role:

  • You will work from your local Fire Station and respond to a wide range of emergencies, including fires, motor vehicle accidents and chemical hazards.
  • Your role will involve collaborating effectively with other emergency services to provide fire safety and education to the public.
  • Key aspects of this role include teamwork, adaptability, reliability and availability across weekdays and/or weekends, including day and/or night work.

About You:

  • To be successful in this role, you need to have a strong sense of community focus, be team-oriented and possess excellent communication skills.
  • You must also live and/or work within a reasonable distance of the FRNSW Fire Station to respond promptly to emergency incidents.

Essential Requirements:

  • A valid NSW Driver's Licence (minimum P1)
  • Adaptability and flexibility in responding to diverse emergency situations
