About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Technician to join our Operations team based in Junee. As part of this role, you will be responsible for delivering a range of technical works encompassing the maintenance, construction, inspection and operation of equipment related to energy transmission and distribution systems.

As an experienced Electrical Technician, you bring a wealth of knowledge and skills to the table. Your background includes:

  • The application of electrical trade skills in the energy Transmission and Distribution environment.
  • Extensive experience in selecting, testing, fault finding, repair and maintenance of electrical infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in high and low voltage switching and permit issuance.
  • A commitment to audits and safety processes ensuring compliance with business requirements.
  • Implementation of enterprise WHS and Environmental procedures.
  • Adherence to business and industry standards contributing to the role of an Electrical Technician.
Your Skills Extend Beyond Technical Expertise
  • Effective problem-solving during unplanned events.
  • The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Basic computer proficiency relevant to the role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills enabling professional communication with stakeholders and customers.
Required Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (plus Qualified Supervisors Certificate) or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
  • Driver's Licence.
  • Qualified Supervisors Certificate.
  • WorkCover NSW Construction Induction Cert.
  • Attainment and ongoing successful maintenance of all regulatory, industry and business required licences, authorisations and other such certificates deemed necessary for the role.
