Key Activities

  • Perform capital adequacy assessments and scenario analyses in compliance with respective regulations.
  • Deliver quarterly risk disclosure and ensure capital calculation reporting for all ING Australia portfolios.
  • Interface with the ING Head Office team members and provide ad-hoc reporting as required.
  • Determine solvency risk appetite setting and regulatory disclosures following the Pillar 3 requirements.
  • Recovery and Resolution planning; designing and maintaining resolution and recovery frameworks and updating of respective policies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong knowledge of finance and treasury concepts, financial markets, and internal and external reporting. You will also need to have an understanding of prudential requirements and the ability to explain the bank's position in plain language.

Desirable Skills

  • 5+ years' experience in Risk Management with a focus on capital planning, stress testing, and scenario design.
  • Experience in engagements with consultants and regulators.
  • Proven experience of modelling, mathematical, and statistical techniques with Intermediate to Advanced skill level of SAS and SQL.
  • Understanding of European resolution and recovery frameworks and reporting.
