As a Workplace Rehabilitation Specialist at KINNECT, you will engage in a multifaceted role that encompasses a wide range of workplace rehabilitation and injury prevention initiatives.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide Workplace Rehabilitation services that assist individuals in participating in meaningful work through a client-focused methodology, promoting optimal health and wellness. Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating injured employees to identify the most effective strategies for facilitating their return to work.
- Conducting site visits to understand the challenges faced by injured employees and educating employers on injury prevention strategies.
- Delivering clinical insights and justifications through comprehensive report writing.
- Performing assessments of daily living activities.
- Managing complex injury cases and collaborating with healthcare providers to support injured employees in their recovery and reintegration into the workplace.
In collaboration with various organizations, you will also be tasked with delivering additional services such as:
- Conducting Pre-Employment Assessments, including drug and alcohol testing, audiological evaluations, spirometry, vision assessments, and functional testing.
- Creating Job Dictionaries.
- Executing Manual Task Risk Assessments.
- Facilitating Interactive Manual Handling Training and Stretching and Warm-Up programs.
- Carrying out ergonomic assessments in workplace, home, and vehicle settings.
