Heavy Duty Mobile Plant Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Duty Mobile Plant Maintenance Technician to join our team at our operations. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for conducting heavy vehicle mechanical maintenance on our autonomous mobile plant, including equipment such as excavators, drills, front-end loaders, dozers, graders and autonomous haul trucks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on autonomous equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including technical documentation, reports and drawings.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve expected results and support the Autonomous Maintenance Supervisor with rescheduling of work, organizing and coordinating resources, scoping of work and determining priorities.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and assist in implementing new initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, and promote a culture of safety within the team.
Requirements:
- Australian Recognised Heavy Diesel/Auto Electrical Trade Certificate.
- CAT or Westrac training preferred.
- Strong heavy vehicle mechanical fitting maintenance competency, with sound diagnostic abilities.
- Experience working in an autonomous mining environment.
- C Class Drivers Licence (HR Desirable).
- Forklift Licence, EWP, Working at Heights, CV (Hiab), CN (Non Slewing Crane), Dogman, Confined Space (Desirable).
- Command/Terrain Training preferred.
- Ability to work off CAT schematic drawings.
- Exposure to FIFO or shift work.
- Strong presentation, communication and coaching skills, and the ability to work closely in a team environment.
Salary:$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
