Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Maintenance Technician to join our team at Cloudbreak. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and equipment management tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our heavy vehicles.

  • Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize machinery downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine job requirements.
  • Inspect and repair plant equipment as required.
  • Ensure material, Labour, plant and equipment is used as effectively and efficiently as possible.
  • Overhaul, service and repair the mechanical parts including engines, gearboxes, clutches and brakes of cars, utilities, trucks and mobile plant.

A successful candidate will have trade qualifications in mechanical work, relevant experience, and strong attention to detail. A competitive salary of $120,000 per annum, plus superannuation, reflects the importance of this role in ensuring the smooth operation of our heavy vehicle fleet.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a technically skilled and experienced Mobile Maintenance Technician who has:

  • Trade qualification in mechanical work.
  • Relevant experience working on heavy vehicles and mobile plant.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.

A HR driver's license and additional high-risk tickets and licenses are highly desirable but not essential.
