About the Job
Are you looking for a role that combines technical skills with customer service? As a retail assistant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice to clients on water testing and chemical solutions, as well as managing stock and merchandising. You will also play a key role in store opening and cash handling procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Water testing and advising clients on chemical and equipment solutions
- Stock control and merchandising
- Store opening and cash handling
- Retail reporting, inventory control and end of day tasks
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a retail environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work unsupervised and manage competing priorities
- Understanding of inventory control and invoicing processes
