Job Opportunity

The Clinical Team Leader plays a pivotal role in ensuring the provision of high-quality care to residents, fostering a collaborative environment among staff members, and promoting a culture of excellence within the clinical team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the delivery of clinical services under the direction of the Clinical Care Manager.
  • Coordinate and evaluate individual resident care to ensure alignment with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular staff competency assessments, contribute to staff training, and ensure accurate completion of clinical documentation.
  • Liaise with the CCM to guarantee resident care outcomes are met and maintained.
  • Provide person-centered care, prioritizing social, emotional, spiritual, and recreational needs.
  • Maintain high standards of care management and nursing interventions, monitoring medication management and assisting with progress notes review.
  • Ensure harmonious interpersonal relations with residents, families, and staff, promoting a positive work environment.
  • Model and actively support organizational values, such as delivering quality care to older Australians.

This role demands strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional care to older adults.

About You
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an RN with no conditions.
  • Experience in an aged care lead role is preferred, showcasing knowledge and experience in clinical services.
  • Sound understanding of the AN-ACC funding system and relevant laws, acts, regulations, and codes of practice.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong computer literacy, and a positive attitude towards working with the elderly.
