Are you an experienced procurement professional looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a skilled Senior Procurement Advisor to join our team in Darwin. In this role, you will provide expert advice and support to client agencies on procurement planning, specification development, procurement sourcing and tender evaluation.
This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize your knowledge and expertise to make a real impact in the Northern Territory Government. You will work closely with stakeholders to deliver procurement projects and discrete deliverables, ensuring compliance with NTG procurement legislation and policies.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have sound knowledge of procurement policy and legislation, as well as strong interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills. A high level of written skills, including preparation of documentation and reports, is also essential.
We offer a competitive salary package, 12% superannuation, 6 weeks annual recreation and 3 weeks personal leave, 3 days Christmas closedown leave, 17.5% annual leave loading and professional development opportunities. Relocation assistance may be available.
Responsibilities:- Provide expert advice and support to client agencies on procurement planning, specification development, procurement sourcing and tender evaluation
- Work closely with stakeholders to deliver procurement projects and discrete deliverables
- Ensure compliance with NTG procurement legislation and policies
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Prepare documentation and reports as required
- Completed or progress towards completion of a Diploma of Procurement Contracting or relevant qualifications
- Sound knowledge of procurement policy and legislation
- Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills
- High level written skills, including preparation of documentation and reports
- Able to work collaboratively and constructively
