Job Title: Experienced Healthcare Professional

We are seeking an experienced healthcare professional to join our Haematology Outpatient Unit as a registered nurse.

The successful candidate will have recent clinical experience in cancer services nursing and be fully chemotherapy competent, with the ability to work efficiently during periods of high demand.

  • Duties include comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments, identifying and implementing discharge-planning requirements, planning appropriate care in consultation with the patient and multidisciplinary team, prioritizing and implementing planned care to achieve established priorities, evaluating patient progress and revising nursing interventions as required, timely documentation of nursing care and patients progress in medical records and communication with other team members.

About You:

  • Registered Nurse with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA,
  • Demonstrated recent clinical experience in Cancer Services Nursing,
  • Ability to work unsupervised, efficiently and in an organized manner during periods of high demand,
  • Chemotherapy and IV cannulation (IVC) competence,
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Recent clinical experience in cancer services nursing,
  • Full chemotherapy competence,
  • Ability to work unsupervised and efficiently during high demand periods,
  • Competence in IV cannulation (IVC).
