Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled travel professional to promote holiday packages, flights, hotels, cruises, tours, experiences and insurance. This role involves building relationships with customers face-to-face and online, managing new enquiries, quotes, itineraries, amendments and cancellations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote holiday packages, flights, hotels, cruises, tours, experiences and insurance
  • Build relationships with customers and manage new enquiries, quotes, itineraries, amendments and cancellations
  • Facilitate domestic and international travel bookings and payments between travellers and suppliers
  • Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings, cross-selling and up-selling of travel products
  • Manage travel credits, refunds and changes
  • Attend sales meetings and achieve targets and KPIs
  • Attend industry events such as supplier and product events, ship inspections and travel expos

Requirements:

  • Certificate 3 in Travel or higher (preferred)
  • GDS experience in Amadeus, Sabre or Galileo
  • Passion for the travel industry and personal travel experience
  • Excellent organisational, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage workflow, set goals, meet sales targets and work productively
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent personal presentation
  • Ability to attend induction training and complete necessary courses
