We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist to join our team at Seibu Prince Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's strategic goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze corporate and hotel performance financial KPIs to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist the Director Global FP&A in the company's annual budgeting process, including coordination and management of requirements.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare consolidated group 3 months P&L forecast management reports and regular update reports on position changes.
- Commercial Analysis: Act as a business partner with cross-departments to provide advice on financial implications of commercial decisions and scenario planning.
- Capex and Project Management: Contribute to the improvement of group capex/project management and control.
- Financial Feasibility Studies: Assist with the preparation of financial feasibility studies and investment analysis for development projects to assess deal viability for properties within Australia and international markets.
- Internal Finance Audits: Conduct on-site internal finance audits as part of internal control and adhere to company policy and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or applied finance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets while maintaining attention to detail.
- CPA/CFA/CIMA (or equivalent) professional qualification, or close to completion.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint, experience in presentations to key management team is preferred.
- 3-5 years' experience in management accounting, corporate finance, budgeting, forecasting, financial and investment analysis, property valuations, and with strong Excel skills and data visualization experience.
- Interest in reporting and data analysis tools is preferred (i.e., Power BI, Tableau, and SQL are a plus).
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment across multiple functions and cross-departments.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience working in medium to large corporate environment (multinational or listed company preferred).
- Preferable with experience in the hotel/hospitality industry sector.
