About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Respect Aged Care. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living and lifestyle.
  • Deliver meals and refreshments as required, ensuring the highest standards of care and service.
  • Record observations and document any exceptions to the care plan, reporting to the EN/RN as necessary.
  • Check residents' daily menu requirements and attend to duties as allocated or delegated by the RN/EN.
  • Perform general ward duties and undertake any other tasks within your skills and abilities, as directed by the organisation.
Requirements
  • Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
  • Relevant Certificate III Qualification.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
  • A current NDIS Worker Screening Check. Respect will assist each successful candidate to obtain the required certification.
