We are seeking a seasoned Project Director to lead our team in delivering complex projects across all business areas within Siemens Energy.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and ensuring timely delivery of projects.
About the Role- Job Description:
This role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end project lifecycle, from planning to delivery. The Project Director will be accountable for ensuring that all projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and at the required level of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and coordinating project teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Ensuring effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders, including project sponsors, customers, and team members
- Identifying and mitigating risks associated with projects, and developing contingency plans as needed
- Developing and implementing project plans, resource allocation, and budgeting
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or similar education
- Extensive experience in project management, preferably in the energy industry
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience in managing cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
