The Limestone Coast Local Health Network, part of SA Health, provides a wide range of healthcare services to residents in the Limestone Coast region of South Australia. This network is situated in the southeastern part of the state and extends to the Victorian border.
Salary: $31.34 - $36.65 per hour + 25% casual loading (Estimated Annual Salary: $64,000 - $75,000)
Job Description:
We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our team at Mount Gambier and Districts Health Service. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will assist with the provision of high-quality patient care in a rural setting. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and maintain cooperative relationships with all members of the health care team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the provision of professional, high-quality patient care at Mount Gambier and Districts Health Service.Maintain cooperative and productive working relationships with all members of the healthcare team.Implement appropriate nursing care and assist with general and specialized procedures from nursing care plans.Plan and prioritize your own work program to achieve defined outcomes and exercise judgment when required to solve problems arising in your work area.Provide verbal and documented information within your scope of practice to patients, other healthcare team members, and members of the public.Contribute to your professional expertise by maintaining ongoing personal professional development and continuing education through a portfolio of post-enrolment learning.Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to be an Enrolled Nurse registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold a current practising certificate. You will also have experience in providing nursing and/or midwifery care in a healthcare setting and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
