Working across various industry sectors, our Building Services engineers provide world-leading expertise in sustainable engineering solutions throughout the lifecycle of any building project.

We've accomplished amazing projects like an innovative office for Google, the largest arts centre in Scotland, and an energy-efficient data centre for Facebook. You could play a key part in our next big project.

The Role You'll Play

In this role based in our Sydney office, you'll join a team specializing in the design of some of the most exciting construction projects in Australia and worldwide.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated graduate looking to start a career in sustainable design and the built environment to be part of the Graduate Program and join the team based in our Sydney office.

As part of our established team of multi-disciplinary engineers, you will develop your knowledge and skills and assist by analysing, reporting, modelling and documenting some of the most exciting sustainable design projects.

You will perform sustainability design analysis, microclimate analysis, computational simulation, manage green building certification, develop strategies for water conservation, drive the reduction in upfront emissions, transportation, undertake energy audits, and other related duties.

You will work across various sectors such as Education, Commercial, Healthcare, Retail, and Residential, and will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as we support the development of your professional skills.

The Skills You'll Bring

You will be educated to degree level in Engineering, the Built Environment, or a related area, and have gained exposure to some of the skills relevant to the role.

Given the collaborative and client-focused nature of this role, excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential.

You will ideally have some knowledge of ESD rating tools such as Green Star, NABERS, LBC, and a passion for creative and intuitive design.

Experience with energy modelling software and parametric modelling software (Grasshopper/Rhino/Dynamo) are viewed positively but are not essential.
