At Amazon Web Services Australia Pty Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Solutions Architect to join our ANZ CSC team.

We are the one of sales organisation at AWS and are focused on new customer acquisitions across ANZ at scale.

You will have the exciting opportunity to work cross-functionally and cross-geographically, as you collaborate with internal stakeholders from sales, operations, partner, and marketing teams.

The role is within the Cloud Sales Centre (CSC) which is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

This includes using your knowledge to craft scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures.

You'll take part in technical solutions discussions, diving deep into the details with customer teams.

Building relationships to understand our customers is key.

As a trusted technical advisor, you'll use your interpersonal skills to influence a variety of stakeholders from technical teams to executives.

You will help ensure their short-term technology decisions are aligned with their long-term goals.

Speeding up the adoption of our services will be part of your day to day.

You will also engage with the AWS Partner Network to help customers select and work with the right partners who can help customers accelerate their cloud adoption.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8+ years of specific technology domain areas experience
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
  • Knowledge of SAP systems and their architecture and infrastructure needs
  • Experience working with end user or developer communities

Estimated Salary: AU$180,000 per annum.
