Responsibilities and Expectations

You will be responsible for preparing food trolleys, plating and serving food, and delivering meals to patients, residents, and staff according to the food safety plan. Additionally, you will ensure the kitchen environment is clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing as per documented cleaning schedules.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A current Food Handlers safety certificate
  • Experience working in the food service industry
  • The ability to work effectively within an aged care setting
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
